Hearing FAQs

A hearing test is painless and usually takes about 30-60 minutes. It includes a conversation about your hearing concerns, a look inside your ears, and a series of listening tests to measure how well you hear different sounds and speech.

We offer a wide range of hearing aids, including rechargeable, Bluetooth-enabled, and invisible styles from all the major manufacturers. We’ll help you choose the best one for your hearing needs and lifestyle.

Most hearing aids last between 3 to 7 years with proper care. Regular cleanings and check-ups can help them last longer and perform their best.

Adults over 55 or those regularly exposed to loud noise should have their hearing tested once a year. If you already wear hearing aids, regular follow-up visits help ensure they’re working properly and your hearing hasn’t changed.

Ringing in the ears, also known as tinnitus, is incredibly common. Tinnitus can be the result of loud noise exposure, hearing loss, ototoxic medications, or stress. If your tinnitus is so severe it is affecting your sleep or quality of life, a tinnitus evaluation could help you.

Coverage depends on your insurance plan. Some plans provide full or partial coverage, while others may not cover hearing aids at all. We’re happy to help you check your benefits and explain your options.
